Having established a reputation as an industry leading manufacturer of premier office furniture products, Gevanco intended to target a younger generation of professionals at the 47th China International Furniture Fair (CIFF Guangzhou), the largest of its kind in Asia. The Hangzhou-based company entrusted anySCALE with designing an alluring fair booth to showcase their latest furniture models to a new audience.
Working with a large 1800 square-meter rectangular space, anySCALE drew inspiration from the Beijing 四合院 Siheyuan courtyard concept, adding a contemporary twist by incorporating modern manufacturing materials that represent the industrial nature of Gevanco. Translucent exterior walls and extensive back lighting create a lantern-like effect, drawing the crowd towards the radiating glow of the fair booth. At the focal corner, the papery facade is punctuated by angled wooden window displays, offering curious spectators an unimpeded view of the company’s latest office chairs and the spaces within.
Just beyond reception, guests are greeted by a lively garden party. A web of bare industrial bulbs, a bright LED display and vivid green foliage create a festive environment for visitors to socialize and lounge on the furniture before touring the surrounding office spaces. The interior walls feature corrugated poly carbonate and felt materials to provide an industrial aesthetic and sound dampening acoustics. Divided by another chair display, the other half of the courtyard is a co-working area housing long desks and collaborative work stations. Circling the courtyard, quieter, more intimate executive office and conference showrooms house the rest of Gevanco’s high quality office furniture.
In realizing this design, anySCALE created a unique exhibition that balances tradition and innovation, enabling Gevanco to shine on one of the biggest stages of the industry.
办公家具制造业积累多年的Gevanco冠臣品牌，在第47届中国（广州）国际家具博览会上的亮相，这是亚洲地区唯一的以全面展示"大办公环境"为定位的专业展会，致力于为更年轻一代的消费群体打造专业的品质服务。这个由杭州起家的品牌，委托anySCALE精心打造一个夺人眼球的全新展台。
在这个1800平米的长方形空间里，anySCALE汲取了北京四合院的设计理念，同时采用代表Gevanco工业制造特性的材质，为整个展台注入了现代前卫的气息。半透明的外墙选用聚氨酯板材质，间接光源从背面亮起，整个展台如同一盏明亮的灯笼，悬浮在展会会场中，独特的外观让经过的观众驻足停留。在展台的外围转角，设计团队安置了折线形切割的木饰面展架，大家可以透过展架观察到展台内部更为丰富产品使用场景，满足了好奇心，也成就了吸睛引流的巧妙构思。
一穿过展厅入口处的前台，参观者立即被一片生机盎然的花园派对氛围所笼罩，凸显工业味的荧光灯管和裸露灯泡、明亮活泼的LED灯箱，搭配中央区域的休闲沙发组合，让参观者倍感轻松与舒适，尽情享受社交攀谈的愉悦，也成为了通往周边办公家具展示区域的中转站。办公家具区域的墙面，透过折线聚氨酯板及折线毛毡的结合，淋漓尽致地展现了工业之美，并兼具吸音降噪的功能。一个长条形的座椅产品展台，亦将四合院做了对半切分，一侧为适用于联合办公的工作场景，搭配促进协作的长桌及工位。另一侧则是更为私密的行政办公及会议区，展示了Gevanco冠臣高端系列的办公家具。
传统与创新的完美平衡在此次anySCALE的设计手法中得到了全方位的展现，也令Gevanco冠臣的展台成为了会场上一颗极度耀眼的星星。
