Ling

The strength and promise of China’s tech industry is not lost even on the average observer, and the wave of innovative companies ushering us into a future straight out of our favorite sci-fi movies brings to anySCALE a new set of clients who seek out outlandish concepts that would make others balk. Ling is one such client; with their main office located in Wangjing, Beijing, they are an AI software and hardware company specializing in family-oriented AI products.
The main materials used were concrete, bamboo wood, silverback painted glass, mirror-finish stainless steel and bolon carpeting.Each of the key materials reflect a specific energy and spirit- the boat made of bamboo wood representing humans, concrete for cities, and mirror-finish steel for robots. Together, their harmonious use expresses a symbiotic human-AI relationship sure to be seen in coming ages.
The main challenges encountered by the team was in rendering a futuristic design with curved lines made of sharp reflective materials, and many of the fittings were tailor-made to ensure a custom high-end look.

空间的主要材质为混凝土、竹木、银色背漆玻璃、镜面不锈钢，以及波龙 (BOLON) 地毯。每样材料都充分体现其自身的能量及精髓，竹木船只造型象征了人类本身，混凝土象征了高楼林立的都市，镜面不锈钢则代表着机器人的世界；所有元素和谐融洽的排布组合，更为深刻的透过设计语言定义了人类与人工智能科技产品共生并存的标志性未来。
整个设计的主要挑战难度在于将坚硬且反光的材料切割成弧线条，以打造未来主义的设计感官，其中不乏新意的定制设计元素，保证了空间高端未来科技的品质外观。
