Open Studio Days

Recently, we took part in the Open Studio Day organized by Shanghai Design Week, welcoming peers, friends, and new visitors to the anySCALE Shanghai office for a warm and inspiring afternoon together.

For the event, we carefully prepared every detail, from project curation and the presentation of models, materials, and visuals, to the atmosphere of the space itself. During the open day, team members from different anySCALE offices shared completed projects and ongoing explorations. From the relationship between space and people, to materials, structure, and construction details; from cultural responses in different regions to spatial experiences across scales, we openly presented the complexity behind the design process.

At anySCALE, we continue to explore how design can move across cultures and scales. Whether through architecture, interiors, exhibitions, or everyday spatial experiences, we believe design can build more natural connections between people and their environments.

What felt especially meaningful was that many conversations continued long after the presentations ended. Visitors stayed to exchange ideas on materials, craftsmanship, and ways of living, and we felt genuine inspiration emerge through these discussions.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such thoughtful conversations. For us, this was more than an open studio day. It was a meaningful encounter through design, culture, and connection.

Until next time.
