We are proud to announce that two of our projects, Deutsche Schule Shanghai (DSSH) and HUAWEI Canteen – Food Lab, have been recognized at the ICONIC Award 2026.
At DSSH, we reimagined corridors as active extensions of the learning environment across the kindergarten, primary school, and secondary school. The kindergarten features a playful world of colour and geometry inspired by children’s imagination. The primary school introduces vibrant, interactive spaces inspired by the four seasons, while the secondary school provides flexible environments for learning, collaboration, social interaction, and relaxation.
Together, these interventions transform transitional spaces into meaningful environments that support different stages of learning and development.
With HUAWEI Canteen – Food Lab, the conventional workplace dining experience is reimagined as a vibrant social and creative hub. Inspired by the textures and structures of ingredient cross-sections, the project explores the relationship between food, nature, science, and technology.
Although created for different contexts, both projects share a common ambition: transforming everyday spaces into meaningful experiences that inspire learning, creativity, interaction, and connection.
