The recently completed HUATECH design for Huatai Securities is a multi-tiered office space providing staff with the latest technology and the right environment to prosper. As part of anySCALE's Rethinking Corporate Office Strategies approach to human engagement in the modern workplace, the primary question was how staff, who might otherwise be working for large tech firms like Alibaba or Tencent, would be able to find their dream environment inside a state-owned insurance company like Huatai.
The public image of state-owned companies in China is usually of bureaucratic inflexibility. anySCALE sought to remedy this through a philosophy of Activity Based Working (ABW) by reorganizing and combining all original staff workstations in different corners of two floors into half a floor. The staff could then be divided into four sections, using the brainstorming room and plants for enhanced separation and people flow. The other half of the floor focuses on a central meeting point with sofas and bar tables against the windows, which benefit from natural light improving worker satisfaction and productivity. The third floor's Workstation Optimization is a crucial feature, serving daily work requirements for most staff. In contrast, the fourth floor's Collaboration Optimization feature seeks to integrate mobile working and external communication but with no active workstations. The idea here was to create a custom-made design style for Huatai, fostering creativity and wellbeing for visitors and staff alike, all within a contemporary realm of productivity.
As a brand new information technology office for Huatai Securities, HUATECH sees completion as a freshly designed office encouraging active lifestyles for all its employees.
提起国企证券公司，大部分人的印象还会是刻板、稳健和厚重，这甚至还是这个行业的现状。如今，证券公司已经发展到与信息科技完美融合的状态。于是，当华泰证券委托我们设计全新的办公空间的时候，我们思考得最多的是：如何让这些可以选择在阿里腾讯美团头条工作的员工，能够在浓郁的国企办公氛围中，找回自己心目中的绿洲？我们将原本散布在两个楼层的不同区域的零散的固定员工工位重新统计归置，合并到其中的一个楼层的半层，然后用头脑风暴房间以及绿植花池将人员分开为均等的四个团队，方便交流的同时，避免了人员的过渡密集带来的紧迫感。这个楼层的另外半层作为集中的会议中心，沿窗的位置安排了背窗的沙发和面窗的吧桌，动静分离，而且充分享受了阳光和风景带给空间自然气息。以工位优化为主导，满足了大部分内部员工的日常工作需求。另外的的一层，我们抽离密集工作，以协作优化为主导，将灵活办公、外部交流、休闲创作等对外功能集中体现，完全抛弃固定工位的设置，营造出华泰证券专属的兼顾宽松氛围与高效协作的办公系统。一层对内，一层对外，相互协作，各不干扰，这就是全新的华泰证券信息科技部——HUATECH，年轻态健康品
