Corporate Architecture

Design for the corporate world forms one of the two fundamental pillars of anySCALE’s practice—and it marks the very beginning of the studio.
anySCALE emerged in China at a time of rapid economic growth and international expansion. In its early years, the studio focused on the design of office environments for global clients operating in highly dynamic markets. Among these were leading German automotive brands whose needs extended far beyond conventional workplaces. They sought environments for research and development, showrooms, dealerships, event spaces, and temporary formats such as pop-up stores—each requiring a distinct spatial logic while remaining part of a coherent brand ecosystem.
As these demands evolved, so did the studio. What began as a workplace-focused design practice naturally expanded into a holistic design partner for the corporate world. From initially serving as a trusted design partner for international clients, anySCALE grew into a well-recognized studio for both international and China-based companies alike.
In parallel, the studio developed the capacity to respond to a broad spectrum of corporate briefs — ranging from retail environments and food & beverage concepts to branded experiential spaces. With a growing portfolio of international brands and increasing recognition through global design awards, anySCALE’s expertise further expanded into the education sector, most notably through international schools and innovative private education formats.
The global shift toward more flexible working models marked another defining chapter. As remote and hybrid work gained momentum, anySCALE became one of the leading design practices for coworking environments in China. To date, the studio has realized approximately 30 coworking locations across the country, representing more than 150,000 square meters of workspace—each tailored to local context while aligned with a broader spatial strategy.
Today, anySCALE operates as a multidisciplinary design studio capable of addressing complex corporate requirements across scales, industries, and cultures—transforming evolving business needs into resilient and meaningful spatial solutions.
