We are proud to be back to BMW WELT in Munich for the ICONIC AWARDS Gala 2026, celebrating another year of outstanding architecture and design with the international design community.
The ICONIC AWARDS have become a recurring part of our journey, recognising our work across different projects and contexts year after year. It reflects not only the recognition of individual projects, but also the continued development of anySCALE and our international design practice. In 2026, Deutsche Schule Shanghai (DSSH) and HUAWEI Canteen – Food Lab were among the awarded projects, continuing a story of international recognition that reflects the breadth of our design practice and our commitment to creating spaces with a strong sense of identity and purpose.
On 6 October, anySCALE founder Andreas Thomczyk and Senior Graphic Designer Ziwei Zhang joined the award ceremony at BMW WELT in Munich. The evening brought together architects, designers, industry professionals, and award winners from around the world for an inspiring exchange of ideas, perspectives, and experiences.
We are grateful to the ICONIC AWARDS and the German Design Council for bringing together such a diverse community of architects and designers, and especially to everyone who contributed to making these projects possible. We look forward to continuing to explore how design can shape meaningful experiences and connect people across different places, cultures, and everyday contexts.
