We are delighted to announce that anySCALE has received the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021 for the outstanding design concept behind the CP Group Office Headquarters located in Beijing’s CBD.
The Red Dot Design Award is a German international design prize awarded by Red Dot GmbH & Co. KG. There are prize categories for product design, brands and communication design, and design concept. Since 1955, designers and producers can apply for the prizes, with the winners being presented in an annual ceremony.
The International design competition is belonging to the best in design and business, is aimed to praise the best products of each year, whether they are beautiful, functional, intelligent or innovative - the winning products have excellent design quality. Excellent design is selected by competent expert juries in the areas of product design, communication design, and design concepts.
Developed by Thai conglomerate CP Group, Zhengda Center shares its premier location in Beijing's Chaoyang CBD with iconic landmarks such as the CCTV Tower, China World Trade Center, and Beijing CITIC Tower. Also known as the CP Center Twin Tower Complex, it consists of two 238-meter tall office towers, one of which serves as CP Group's main headquarters. anySCALE designed a tasteful, high-quality office for the entire 1,500 sqm net area of the North Tower's 39th floor.
"We were tasked with designing an office that accentuated open space while still providing ample private work stations,” recalls Managing Partner Andreas Thomczyk. anySCALE successfully met the challenge of creating a corporate space that is both practical and inviting, achieving an elegant design with a refined, minimalistic approach.
The jury of international design experts credited anySCALE’s balanced choice of colors and the creation of a space that feels both communal and private, a clever concept that sets the corporate headquarters apart from others.
