The theme of this showroom was based on the the topical issue of PM2.5 and how to represent a clear sky. anySCALE had the idea of using coloured sheet glass to create a rainbow effect within the showroom.
“A rainbow is something very unique. It can only be seen when the right set of weather conditions come together, sunshine, rain and a clean atmosphere. We wanted to take those associations of colour and fresh air as the inspiration for this design.” - Karin Hepp
Twenty floor-to-ceiling pieces of coloured glass curve their way around the 250sqm room. The separations between enclosed spaces – a manager’s room and a meeting room – and the open plan areas - lounges and exhibition space - become interchangeable within a blur of colours. There’s a youthful freshness to this showroom, aimed at a younger demographic who values a designer lifestyle, healthy living and a flexible working environment.
