For its new head office in Beijing’s tech hub of Zhongguancun, Chinese game developer FunPlus hired anySCALE to take over the interior design of the HQ and also develop a fresh and distinct design language representing the physical manifestation of the company’s brand identity and values.
Polished, modern, and refreshing with a high-tech vibe, the office features plenty of collaborative nooks, airy and contemplative meeting areas, and charming color contrasts. Tinted glass, perforated paneling, light-and-shadow play lend zest to a function-first minimalist office with all the bearings of a productivity-enhancing workplace. Standalone or framed glass panels in pastel shades of mint green and light yellows section off areas closer to natural light, whereas bolder shades of orange and electric blue cover nooks, walls, and furniture in areas more abundant in high-quality artificial lighting. Adding symbolism to the mix, FunPlus’ mission of serving the world is conveyed via themed meeting rooms, each designated a global city landscape spray-painted in monochrome.
