Almost any kind of physical training involves pushing back against gravitational forces. This concept of gravity and how to work against it was the primary focus when designing the Gravity fitness club. The design for this space distinguished between open areas for individual training (i.e. cardio, strength, and flexibility) and areas for group training (yoga, spinning, and Pavigym).
The gym was given a darker colouration for its open AKA "outside" areas. Here, wall cladding made of grey-tinted aluminum  foam gave a sense of weightlessness similar to that of being on the moon. A grid of custom-designed spotlights were also constructed to resemble a panoply of stars shimmering across the universe and added to the moon-like atmosphere. The "inside" areas were, in contrast, tinted with warm, light vanilla tones and built with lower ceilings and stronger illumination.
